Aletor Atelier

Aletor Atelier is the work of Tomer Alef.

The journey into leatherwork began from a background in software engineering - a discipline rooted in structure, logic, and exactness.

These principles continue to shape the approach to the craft, informing a method defined by control, balance, and disciplined execution.

This foundation was further refined through study under master leather artisans in Spain and London.

Traditional techniques, material understanding, and the discipline of handwork were developed through practice.

Before establishing the atelier, years were spent studying construction, proportion, and the behavior of fine leathers.

This process led to a clear direction: to create leather goods without compromise.

Aletor Atelier was founded to pursue this standard fully.

Each piece is designed, constructed, and finished entirely by hand — allowing complete control over every detail.

At the core of the work is traditional saddle stitching.

Executed with two needles, it forms a seam of exceptional strength and longevity.

Combined with carefully selected materials, this approach ensures each piece is built to endure.

The work is guided by a simple philosophy:

Precision over speed.
Quality over quantity.
Timelessness over trend.

Each piece is made to be used, to age, and to develop character over time.

Aletor Atelier represents a commitment to craftsmanship in its purest form — measured, deliberate, and without compromise.
